Within the framework of NMP2018 we are honored to announce again this year the EDOARDO MOLLICA AWARD, in order to commemorate the figure and work of Edoardo Mollica – full Professor of Real Estate Appraisal and Valuation, pioneer in the research field of Inner Areas and open-eyed scholar of Metropolitan Cities.

The Award is aimed at encouraging the participation of early career researchers in the scientific debate. The prize will be awarded to the most innovative and original papers written and presented exclusively by young scholars, in response to the Call For Papers “NEW METROPOLITAN PERSPECTIVES” 2018. As young researchers (under age 35) are meant Graduates, Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidates, without a permanent academic contract.

The research topics should relate to the themes of sustainable development, cultural heritage, identity, metropolitan cities or economic policies in favor of the Inner Areas, preferably in Convergence Objective Regions.

To apply for the EDOARDO MOLLICA AWARD 2018, candidates are asked to send a short motivation letter to the NMP2018 Secretariat at together with evidence of the young researcher status (and age) by the 23rd of February 2018.

The Edoardo Mollica Award Committee will select and reward successful early career researchers’ papers, assigning a grant that covers the conference fee for the registration to the NMP2018 International Symposium.

Note: Due to the several requests, we’re pleased to clarify that the Edoardo Mollica Award Committee will only consider theapplication sent by young researchers willing to present the paper during the Symposium. The same paper could be written by other co-authors
